From La Salvetat, take the Carmaux Road (D905) for about 8km. Just before Le Port de la Besse turn left towards the village of La Rivière (3km). Park on the square.

From the square where you parked in La Rivière, take the road on the left which heads north, then follow the wide track. Climb towards the water tower (château d’eau) at La Guillonié and take the road on the right, then right again at the fork. A little after La Garrigue turn left to get back to La Rivière and your starting point. It’s worth taking a moment to walk around the village.
